Sharks and Chablis is known for having a wonderful silent auction. The auction is one of the main ways we raise funds for our marine education programs. All of our auction items are donated by local businesses friends of aquarium, local artists and the general public. If you wish to donate this year please include your contact info; name, business, mailing address, e-mail and phone number. Also, a brief description of your donation; i.e. gift certificates, services, antiques, original artwork, jewelry, and any other item you might be interested in donating. Please call 850-984-5297 for more information. All donations are tax-deductible and go towards continuing our mission of marine education.
Gulf Specimen is also looking for sponsors for this year’s event. The sponsors play a critical role in helping us with Sharks and Chablis every year. There are three different levels of sponsorship. The first level of sponsorship is our “Starfish” sponsor starting $250-$500. The second level of sponsorship is the “Loggerhead Sea Turtle” is starts at $500 to $1000. The third level of sponsorship is the “Tiger Shark” sponsor starting at $1000 and up. Each of our sponsors will get free tickets to the event and press coverage of their company’s name on flyers, brochures, and on a banner at the event. All donations are tax-deductible.
We plan on making this year’s Sharks and Chablis one of the best yet, but we cannot do this without your help. So save the date for May 19 from 2 till 7 PM for this year’s Sharks and Chablis. You will be able to say that you had a glass of wine with a shark!
